Bees, hives and experiences

Do you remove bees?

We do. Where the bees are and the amount of work and time needed to remove them will affect the final price. If the bees have simply swarmed into a tree and need to be gathered, we do not charge to collect them.

For bees inside a wall, roof or tree, start with a free bee evaluation, or schedule a bee removal.

Do you sell beeswax?

We do. Let us know how much wax you need and we will arrange for pickup or shipping. Contact us to place a request.

Can I host a hive?

We offer a few options that let you host a hive in your yard or at your place of business. Contact us and we will work out a solution that best meets your needs.

Can you help me become a beekeeper?

We can. Our mentorship option includes setting up your bees and meeting with you regularly for a year, so you become knowledgeable and comfortable tending your own bees. Contact us to get started.

Can time with bees help with mental health?

It can, and we have several options that can help. You can make an appointment to come watch the bees, or suit up and interact with them during a Therapeutic Hive Experience. If you need more intensive support, you can schedule with a licensed therapist and work with your insurance.

Are hive experiences free for veterans and first responders?

Yes. Our hive experiences are always free for veterans and first responders, for you or your group of up to 10. Book your free experience.

Do you offer education and outreach?

We love sharing the bees, along with their impact on the environment, team building and mental health. Our Bee Brave Experience brings an observation hive to schools, workplaces and community groups. Contact us to see how we can work together.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes. Retailers can order through Faire or contact us directly. See our Wholesale page.

About our honey

What is creamed honey?

Creamed (whipped) honey is pure honey that has been carefully crystallized and then creamed into a smooth, spreadable texture, like butter. Ours is small-batch, made in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, with natural flavors. Shop creamed honey.

Is your honey raw?

Our Pure Local Raw Honey bears, 3 lb jar and honeycomb are raw and unfiltered from our hives. Our creamed honeys start with raw honey.

Does creamed honey need to be refrigerated?

No. Store it at room temperature with the lid closed. The fridge makes it firmer.

Why did my honey crystallize? Has it gone bad?

Crystallizing is natural and a sign of real honey. Honey does not spoil if kept sealed. Warm the jar gently in warm water to make it liquid again.

Is honey safe for babies?

No. Do not give honey to children under 1 year old. This is standard health guidance for all honey.

What is the difference between your hot honeys?

Smoke-apeno is gentle smoked jalapeño; Heated Hugs is bold habanero; Ghostly Sweet and Peachy Ghost bring ghost-pepper heat. Shop hot honey.

Orders and shipping

How long does shipping take, and is shipping free?

Orders are typically shipped within 3 business days, although high-traffic times (around holidays) could take longer. Flights and straws currently ship free. Offers are subject to change at any time.

Where can I buy your honey in person?

While we mostly sell online, we attend several local markets and events throughout the year. Watch our emails and social media for dates and locations. We also have offerings in a few specialty stores; feel free to ask if we are in one near you.

How do veterans and first responders book a free experience?

Veterans and first responders can use the booking link under Experiences to set up an appointment, or reach out to us directly.
