Mindful Megan · Week 1
"I don't have time to slow down." That's what I tell myself every morning while I'm already running behind.
But today I stood at the counter and watched the honey fall off the spoon. One minute, no phone, just warm tea.
Nothing on my list changed. I did, a little.
Rest isn't a reward
I used to think rest was something I earned after everything was done. The problem is that everything is never done. So I'm trying something different: rest first, for one minute, and then the day.
Try the 60-second reset
- Make something warm: tea, coffee or hot water with lemon.
- Stir in a spoonful of honey and watch it dissolve.
- Put your phone face down. Take three slow breaths.
- Notice one thing: the warmth of the mug, the smell, the light in the room.
That's it. Sixty seconds. You don't need a new routine or an hour of free time.
If you want a honey made for slow mornings, Blue Bliss and Linger Zing lemon ginger honey both melt beautifully into tea. Our Tea Lover Bundle puts a few favorites together.
Your 60 seconds start now. We'll be here.
