Step into the calming rhythm of the hive and experience the powerful connection between nature, mindfulness, and healing. Our Therapeutic Hive Experience invites guests to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the natural world while learning about the incredible life of honeybees.
Guided by our beekeepers, you’ll safely observe the hive, learn about the role of bees in our ecosystem, and discover how working with bees can bring a sense of peace, focus, and grounding. The gentle hum of the hive, the scent of honey and wax, and the quiet attention bees require create a unique space for reflection and relaxation.
For many people, time spent with the bees becomes a form of natural therapy — encouraging presence, patience, and calm.
At Barley Moon Botanicals, this experience is about more than beekeeping. It’s about community, healing, and giving back. Proceeds from our honey and products help fund free therapeutic hive experiences and mental health events for veterans and first responders, providing a peaceful environment where our heroes can connect with nature and one another. Others are $25 per hour.
Whether you’re curious about beekeeping, looking for a mindful outdoor experience, or simply wanting to spend time surrounded by the beauty of the hive, we welcome you to join us.
Come experience the hive.
Feel the calm.
Leave a little sweeter than you arrived. 🍯🐝

If you’ve discovered a cluster of bees on your property, you may be seeing a honey bee swarm. Swarming is a natural process where a colony leaves its hive to form a new home. While it can look alarming, honey bee swarms are usually temporary and the bees are typically focused on protecting their queen and finding a new hive location.
At Barley Moon Botanicals, we provide safe honey bee swarm removal and relocation services. Instead of exterminating these important pollinators, we carefully collect the swarm and relocate the bees to a managed hive where they can continue supporting the local ecosystem.
Our goal is to offer a bee-friendly alternative to pest control by safely relocating honey bees rather than harming them. Honey bees are essential pollinators responsible for supporting gardens, crops, and natural habitats.
If you are searching for honey bee removal near you, a beekeeper to collect a swarm, or safe bee relocation services, we may be able to help.
When you contact us about a swarm, we will:
• Confirm whether the insects are honey bees or another species
• Schedule a safe swarm removal and relocation
• Carefully collect the bees and transport them to one of our apiaries
• Provide guidance to prevent future swarms in certain locations
Most honey bee swarms settle temporarily on tree branches, fences, bushes, vehicles, or buildings while scout bees search for a permanent home.
If you find a cluster of bees on your property:
• Stay calm and keep a safe distance
• Avoid spraying or disturbing the bees
• Take a video & text it to our number.
• Include location and how long the swarm has been there
Relocating honey bee swarms helps protect these vital pollinators while keeping your property safe. Many of the bees we collect go on to thrive in our apiaries, where they help produce raw honey and support pollination in our community.
Saving the bees — one swarm at a time. 🐝🍯 Outdoor Swarms are free, inside trees or structures start at $400. A quote is given before work begins. Hornets start at $125 depending on location, time and size of the job.

At Barley Moon Botanicals, we partner with organizations to bring the calming and educational experience of bee hives to employees. Companies can choose to visit our apiary, have us bring bees in, or host bees at their workplace.
Bring your team to our peaceful hive location for a Therapeutic Hive Experience. Employees can observe the bees, learn about pollination and sustainable beekeeping, and enjoy a unique nature-based wellness experience that encourages mindfulness and connection.
Organizations can also partner with us to host honey bee hives at their corporate location. We manage and maintain the hives while providing educational visits, employee workshops, and seasonal honey harvest experiences.
Corporate partnerships help support our mission to fund free therapeutic hive experiences and mental health events for veterans and first responders.
